The Realisation

Half way to my destination;
I start to realise;
I’m walking underneath the scorching Sun;
Practically legging about 4km;
To a place where I’m not physically obliged to go;
That there would be no consequences if I dont go.

It was there it hit me,
That I was in love.

Four kilometres seemed less than one,
And that scorching Sun that didn’t let my lid lay open;
Was like my lover giving me the spotlight
As i perform for Him;
In the various glories of the day He’d given me.

And as I walked towards His Home,
I plugged in some gospel,
And shoki’d;
And dabbed;
As His amazing Spirit,
Filled my heart.
