It is a community relationship
When people greet you by his name,
And you shyly offer a curved lip smile.
Or when people call on you from afar by his name
And you turn, because indeed that was the tone of your heart beat
And it’s only right to respond to its call.
When you walk past him on the corridor,
And all eyes bend towards your focus
And the whispers start
When you see him strutting across the hallway
Smiling with the girl he always texted
Your heart tears a little,
Not only because you see him now
But because for four more years,
It’s going to tear everytime your eyes catch sight of him
or with a victim.
