I looked into his eyes, and he looked into mine.
Our laughter were merged to form the skyline,
Our exchanged grins painted the sky blue.
That perfect hug made the sun shine a little brighter,
Those eye contacts caused the rainbow to form.
But now, the skyline is broken,
And the sky is cackling in its dark clouds.
The Sun is hidden, in fear
No sign of the rainbow,
It was probably never there.
None of it was.
Like a prisoner on death row,
I stayed in my cell,
Plagued with hope.
In silent denial of the nearest future,
Of my fatal departure,
Of my heart’s break,
And my soul’s destruct.
I stared into the ceiling,
Letting down tears,
Hurting in this unrequited love.
